Autumn anime "GARO -Kouren no Tsuki-" special program to be broadcast on TV on October 2! In addition to interviews with the voice actors, there will be a dialogue between Keita Amemiya and Masakazu Katsura.

The TV anime "GARO - Kouren no Tsuki" will start in October, and a special program will be broadcast on TV on October 2.



GARO - Kouren no Tsuki" is the second TV anime from the adult-oriented special effects series "GARO," which has aired a total of four series since 2005, following "GARO - GARO: Mark of Fire" in 2014. This time, manga artist Masakazu Katsura, who is also well known as the character designer for "TIGER & BUNNY," will be the main character designer, and a new story will be depicted as a "neo Heian Katsudo" set in the Heian period. Production will continue to be handled by MAPPA and TOHOKUSHINSHA. It will be broadcast in two consecutive seasons.

Prior to the broadcast, a special program commemorating the start of the broadcast, "GARO - Kouren no Tsuki - Heian no Yami ni Shoukaeru Kinro Special! will be aired on TV Tokyo and other stations from 1:23 a.m. on February 2, 2012. In addition to interviews with the voice cast, including Masei Nakayama as the main character, Raikage, a demonic knight; Romi Park as Seimei, a demonic priest who fights alongside Raikage against Hira; Daisuke Namikawa as Hosuke Fujiwara, an official of the Kengenji Agency; Kenyu Horiuchi as Michinaga Fujiwara, a powerful figure in Kyoto; and Tomokazu Seki as Michimitsu Ashiya, a mysterious priest, the original author, Keita Amamiya, and the manga artist, Keita Katsura, will be featured in the program. Keita Amemiya, the original author, and Masakazu Katsura, a manga artist, talk about their experiences in the past. This special program will deepen the understanding of the "GARO" series, not only for fans of the past series, but also for newcomers to the series.


The program will be broadcast from October 9.
