Sugio plays the lead role in his first attempt at anime voice acting!　Toyama Local Anime "Sugio: Love in the Forest", Episode 1 is now available!

The first episode of the web animation "Sugio - Falling in Love in the Forest" starring the celebrity Sugi-chan has been released.

Sugio - Falling in Love in the Forest" is a web animation produced by "NPO Toyama no Ki de Tsukuru Kai" (Toyama Wood Home Builders Association) in cooperation with DLE of "The Secret Society Hawk's Nail" as part of their local lumber sales promotion activities. The main character Sugio, who represents the image of cedar, a typical building material in Toyama Prefecture, is the protagonist of the animation, which calls for local production for local consumption through a story about the growth of cedar trees in the forests of Toyama. The role of Sugio is played by Sugi-chan, a TV personality with a connection to "Sugi" (Japanese cedar). This is Sugi-chan's first attempt at voice acting in an anime.

The three 14-minute episodes will be released sequentially on the official website (http://toyamanoki.net/sugio/) and other sites.
