Apartments in "Kashiwanoha Smart City" in Kashiwa City, Chiba Prefecture, transformed into giant robots!　Original Anime "Super Mobile City KASHIWA-NO-HA", Episode 1 Released

The original animation "KASHIWA-NO-HA," a super-mobile city block, was released to the public.

This is an original 3DCG animation work created by Shuhei Morita and his team, the creators of the 86th Academy Awards nominated film "99" for Best Animated Short Film. "What if our city were a robot? The robot animation is set in "Kashiwanoha Smart City" in Kashiwa City, Chiba Prefecture, where an experimental project is being carried out. It consists of three short movies.

The movies are based on the Kashiwanoha Smart City concept of "creating a vision of the future of the world," in which a condominium is transformed into a robot when the "will of the people" of the residents synchronizes and unites with a family of four who are considering purchasing a condominium. The large robot "Ichibangai Kiki," which has been working steadily since 2009, is modeled after the condominium "Park City Kashiwanoha Campus Ichibangai," which was completed in 2009. This is a way of expression that is distinctly different from the characters of today's local communities.

The film is directed by Shuhei Morita, written by Dai Sato, mechanical design by Takayuki Yanase, character design by Daisuke Sashiki, and art direction by Gouki Nakamura. The cast includes Yuichi Nakamura as Takashi, Maaya Sakamoto as Yuko and Eita, and Tomoyuki Morikawa as the community leader.

In conjunction with the distribution of the first episode, the first episode of the comic by manga artist Fumio Fumi will be distributed on October 1, and the second episode on October 8.

The robot grows in size and stands in front of the family.
