Akiba Research Institute's anime portal "Anipota" presents the anime attention ranking as of September 30, 2015!



With the TV anime starting in October about to air, the fall anime dominated the 34th place. However, there were some big fluctuations in the ranking, probably due to the time to check for new programs. DIABOLIK LOVERS MORE, BLOOD, " which had held the No. 1 position up to now, was ranked No . 2, and "Lance and Masks" took the No. 1 spot. Light novel works such as "Heavy Object," "Gakusen Toshi Asterisk" and "Ochidai Knight no Hero Tan" also moved up in the rankings.

Lance and Masks" is an anime work based on a light novel by Hideaki Koyasu, who also worked on the series composition of the anime "GJ-Be." It is a romantic comedy about a boy knight and a 6-year-old girl who live together in a mysterious community. Directed by Kyouhei Ishiguro of "April is Your Lie" and animated by Studio Gogumi of "Kiniro Mosaic," the PV that has already been released shows a warm, smiling atmosphere.

The original author of "Heavy Object" is Kazuma Kamaike, creator of the hit series "Toaru Majutsu no Index" (A Certain Magical Index). The staff of "Heavy Object" is also superb, with Takashi Watanabe of "Senran Kagura" as general director, Hiroyuki Yoshino of "World Trigger" as series composition, Atsuko Watanabe of "Hanayamata" as character design, and J.C. STAFF of "Jail Academy" as animation production company. The two male protagonists are played by popular young voice actors, Natsuki Hanae and Kaito Ishikawa. Like the "Toaru" series, this major title is expected to attract a wide range of male and female fans.
