This season's summer anime was characterized by a varied lineup with many unique works with unusual settings and other unique features. As if symbolizing such a season, "Prison School" and "A Boring World Where the Concept of Undertones Does Not Exist" both received high ratings. Both of them drew attention for their last-minute plot twists, but the one thing they had in common was that their "direction" received particularly high scores. The fact that the two anime took a seemingly silly theme and took it seriously, and created a stance of "making people laugh seriously," seems to have been a factor in their high ratings.

Also, "Arslan Senki," "Ore Monogatari," "Shokugeki no Soma," and "Shokugeki no Soma" from the two-cour spring anime broadcasts were also highly rated. and "Shokugeki no Soma" also received high ratings. Arslan Senki" was written by Yoshiki Tanaka and Hiroshi Arakawa, while "Ore Monogatari! was written by Kazune Kawahara and Arko, and "Shokugeki no Soma" was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump. There were also voices of hope for a sequel.

However, this is an interim announcement. The "2015 Summer Anime Review Submission Campaign" will continue until October 18, so if you have not yet written a review, please take this opportunity to send us your thoughts. That work should be rated as well!" No, this work is not so highly rated! Your opinion may make a big difference to the final result!
