New Fall Anime "Lupin the Third" TV Series to be Released in 8 Volumes on BD/DVD Starting December 23! The first volume comes in a three-sided box.

BD/DVD information was announced for the TV anime "Lupin the Third," which will start in October.



It has been 30 years since "Lupin the Third: Part III" in 1985, which is a pure TV series that is not an offshoot or spin-off. The series is set in Italy and the Republic of San Marino, and will begin airing on Italian RTI stations in May 2015, and in Japan in October on NTV and other stations. The series is directed by Yuichiro Yano, directed by Yuya Takahashi, who directed "LUPIN THE IIIRD: The Tombstone of Daisuke Tsugimoto", with music by Yuji Ohno, who created the famous "Lupin III Theme", and animation production by Telefonaktie. Yuji Ohno, creator of the famous "Lupin III Theme," and animation production by Telecom Animation Films. Total of 24 episodes.

The first episode aired on October 1 and has been attracting more and more attention, and BD/DVD information has been released. Each volume will contain three episodes, with the BD version priced at 6,000 yen plus tax and the DVD version at 5,000 yen plus tax.


The first volume, which will be released on December 23rd, will be packaged in a three-sided box, illustrated by Hisao Yokobori, and will include an audio commentary (episode 1: Kanichi Kurita, Miyuki Sawashiro, and Yukiyo Fujii), non-credit OP/ED, and a collection of staff color cards.
