Kyoto Katsu Gyu, a beef cutlet specialty restaurant in Kyoto, will open in Akihabara on November 20! Medium rare beef cutlet deep-fried in 60 seconds with 4 kinds of sauce/tare

A new "Kyoto Katsu Gyu" restaurant will open in Akihabara on November 20.

The location has not yet been announced, but it is expected to open in the second phase of renovation of the restaurant area on the 8th floor of Yodobashi Akiba (17 restaurants on November 20).

Kyoto Katsu Gyu is a beef cutlet specialty restaurant with two locations in Kyoto and one in Nagoya, based on the concept of kappo (Japanese cooking) in Kyoto. 60-second deep-frying of medium-rare beef cutlets are served with wasabi soy sauce, sansho salt, special sauce, or Japanese curry dipping sauce. Examples of menu items include the "Beef loin cutlet set (130g)" for 1,280 yen plus tax, and the "Kuroge Japanese beef cutlet set-ordinary (120g)" for 1,880 yen plus tax. Both beef cutlet set menus come with free refills of barley rice.

The company aims to open 20 new restaurants by the end of 2016, and expects a rush of new restaurants to open in Kiyomizu-dera Temple on October 15, Ogawamachi in Tokyo on November 15, and Takebashi in Tokyo on November 30.
