External SSD" (model number: SL-BG1), an external SSD with USB 3.0 connection, is now available from SONY.



The "External SSD" is a compact external SSD with an aluminum housing.

It uses USB 3.0 as its connection interface and features a high transfer rate of up to 450 MB/s.


The main specifications are as follows: the main unit measures 37 (W) x 78.2 (D) x 9.4 (H) mm, weighs approximately 35 g, has a capacity of 128 GB, and is compatible with Windows 8.1/8/7/Vista and Mac OS X10.8 or later.
