The last rush of new shows of the year has arrived! There are more than 60 fall 2015 anime titles on the lineup. In this issue, we pick up five notable works for those who forgot to check out the new releases. From the latest in a popular series, to a musical anime, to a sequel to that national gag manga, we have a unique lineup of works.

Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans

The latest work in the "Gundam" series features a young Martian soldier. The story follows Mikazuki Orgas, a member of the private security company CGS (Crusse Guard Security), and other children who have been oppressed by adults, as they survive on their own. In addition to the story's focus on adolescence, the main character, Gundam Varvatos, has a distinctive mechanical design, with a "kubi-kubi" waist. In fact, its armor has deteriorated since it was manufactured 300 years ago, and its appearance and performance can be changed by taking parts from enemy machines. In the first episode, a muddy but powerful battle scene centering on live ammunition unfolded amidst a cloud of dust. The Gundam changes its appearance as the main character grows up.

Director Tatsuyuki Nagai and series composition artist Mari Okada have worked on the current movie "The Heart Wants to Cry" and the TV anime "Ano Hi Mita Hana no Hana no Hana" (The Flower I Saw That Day). and TV anime "Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae o Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai" (We Still Don't Know the Name of the Flower We Saw That Day), "Toradora! and other animated TV series. How will the two, who have vividly depicted adolescent boys and girls, express "Gundam"?

Dance with Devils

Dance with Devils" is an original musical anime based on a plan by Rejet, a game production company that has produced "DIABOLIK LOVERS" and other works for otome (girls). There are many works with singing as the theme, but musical anime is still rare. The music is by Elements Garden, who have created the live scenes for "Uta no Prince Sama! The film is sure to be an enjoyable experience with its intertwining of various elements such as singing, dialogues, and dancing.

Of course, the unique characters are not to be missed. REM Hukanuki, the president of the Shihou Academy, is an Akuma, and his brother Lindo, an exorcist, is an exorcist who desperately protects Ritsuka, the main character. The film will be directed by Ai Yoshimura, who adapted the popular shoujo manga "Ao Haride" for the screen.

Concrete Revolutio: Choujin Fantasy

Aliens, monsters, witch kids, yokai, obake, robots, cyborgs, etc. ...... This is an original anime born from the concept of what if the "superhumans" depicted in previous fictions were real at the same time. The main character is Hitoyoshi Jiro, a young man belonging to the "Choujin Section" whose mission is to register and protect "superhumans. How does he, the only ordinary human being, stand up against these "superhumans" with special abilities such as magic, time manipulation, and special light rays?

Although the film is set in postwar Japan, it incorporates a fictional age of deification. The colorful, pop background depicts streetcars running through the city and retro signboards, giving the viewer a sense of the Showa period of rapid economic growth. Directed by Seiji Mizushima, script by Noboru Aikawa, and animation production by BONES. The two artists who worked on "Fullmetal Alchemist" and "UN-GO" depict the current state of "superheroes!

GARO -Kouren no Tsuki

This is the second TV animation of the special effects drama series "GARO". The previous work was set in a medieval European style, but this time the setting has been renewed to a city in the Heian period (794-1185). The fantastic world of "GARO" and the gorgeous Heian-kyo capital are fused together to weave a new story of the Golden Knight. Actor Masei Nakayama, who also starred in the drama, was selected to voice the main character, Raikaku. This is the first time in the series that an actor has starred in both a live-action and a drama.

In addition, Park Norumi, Yajima Akiko, Namikawa Daisuke, and Horiuchi Keno, who were the main cast members in the previous film, have been hired again. It has been announced that historical figures such as Fujiwara no Michinaga will also appear, and it will be interesting to see how they will be involved in the story. The character design is by Masakazu Katsura, a manga artist who was also a popular voice actor in the previous film. The director is Atsushi Wakabayashi, who first came into the limelight with his action installment of "Naruto" and directed "Guin Saga" for the first time.

Osomatsu-san

Commemorating the 80th anniversary of the birth of Fujio Akatsuka, the god of gag manga, the legendary six-pack "Osomatsu-kun" is unexpectedly back. The title has been changed to "Osomatsu-san" since they have grown up into adults, and they will be adapted into an anime for the first time in 27 years. The highlight of the project is the cast, which is absolutely gorgeous. The cast includes Takahiro Sakurai as Osomatsu, Yuichi Nakamura, Hiroshi Kamiya, Jun Fukuyama, Daisuke Ono, and Miyu Irino as the six popular male voice actors. They play the Osomatsu, who live together even after they grow up.

The first episode presents a crazy story that seems to be packed with elements from all kinds of anime. Iyami's legendary gag "Shae! which everyone has imitated at least once, was also performed, showing the chaos that is typical of Akatsuka's works. The director is Yoichi Fujita of the "Gintama" series. His skill in skillfully sublimating the original work is on full display in this film. The animation is produced by studio PIERO, which worked on the previous film.
