From the anime film "Little Witch Academia: Magical Parade" to be released on October 9, it was announced that the film will be streamed online on Netflix starting at noon on the day of its release.

Little Witch Academia: Magic Parade" is a sequel to "Little Witch Academia," a 25-minute original short animation depicting the school life of apprentice witches produced by Trigger in March 2013 as part of the Agency for Cultural Affairs' "Anime Mirai 2013" project for training young animators. In July 2013, the project started soliciting funds for the sequel production on the American crowdfunding service "Kickstarter," and reached its goal of $150,000 in just five hours. In the end, a total of $625,518 (approx. 74 million yen) was collected from 7,938 supporters in one month, and production began on a 40-minute short animation "Little Witch Academia 2 (tentative title)". The director continues to be Yoh Yoshinari. It will be screened simultaneously with the previous "Little Witch Academia.

This time, it will be streamed online at the same time as its theatrical release on October 9. The streaming will start at noon on the same day on Netflix, which has been the talk of the town since it landed in Japan. This is the first time that a theatrical release and Netflix streaming will begin on the same day. The film is also scheduled for worldwide distribution in the future, so that anime fans around the world will be able to experience the work.
