Happy Science Press Animated Film "The Secret of UFO Academy" to be Distributed Worldwide! English dubbing dubbing video of Hollywood actresses also released!

From the animated film "The Secret of UFO Academy" to be released on October 10, it was announced that the English dubbed version of the film will be distributed simultaneously worldwide.



The Secret of UFO Academy" is an animated film by Happy Science Publications, following "The Rebirth of Buddha" and "The Mystical Laws". For this reason, the staff of "The Mystical Laws" has been reunited with Ryuho Okawa as the executive producer and original director. The director, chief animation director, and character designers are Isamu Imakake, who participated in "Nadia of the Mysterious Sea," "Neon Genesis Evangelion," and "Captain Tsubasa," and the production is handled by HS PICTURES STUDIO. The cast includes Ryota Osaka, Asami Seto, Tetsuya Kakihara, Hisako Kanemoto, Wataru Hatano, Hiroshi Nakano, Haruka Sensuge, Takahiro Fujiwara, Hirotsugu Shirakuma, Kazunari Futomata, Miki Ito, Banjo Galaxy, and Daisuke Namikawa. The story is set at Nazca Academy, a boarding school, where five high school students encounter an abduction by aliens, and as they search for the truth about the school, they discover the "secrets of the universe" that could shake the future of the earth.

The English dubbed version of the film will be released in the U.S. and Japan this fall, and will be distributed simultaneously worldwide. Screenings will begin in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Toronto on October 2 before Japan, followed by Chicago, Texas, Pittsburgh, and other cities. The film will also be screened in Houston, home of the Johnson Space Center, where astronauts are trained, and it will be interesting to see how North Americans, who are highly interested in aliens, react to the film. The English dubbed version (with Japanese subtitles) will be screened in Japan on October 24-25 at Human Trust Cinema Shibuya, Yokosuka Humax Cinema, Cine Libre Umeda, and Cine Libre Kobe.


The English dubbed version will be joined by Hollywood actress Jennifer Beals, known for her starring role in the drama "The World of L," and reluctant actor Dylan McDermott, who has appeared in the dramas "HOSTAGE" and "American Horror Story. A video of the making of the postrecording session and an interview with them have also been released. The video introduces how the two actors prepared for their roles and went about recording, with commentary from voice actor/voice director Wendy Lee, known for her roles in the English versions of "Nadia of the Mysterious Sea" and "The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya" (as Haruhi Suzumiya).
