B-class gourmet food and drink spot "B-1 Grand Prix Shokudo AKI-OKA CARAVANE" will hold its first menu change on October 23.
B-1 Grand Prix Shokudo AKI-OKA CARAVANE opened on July 10 as the first permanent store in Tokyo and the official store of the "B-1 Grand Prix," a B-class gourmet (local gourmet) showcase event held throughout Japan. The menu is not fixed and features local gourmet dishes from about 70 regions, but the menu will be changed for the first time on October 23.
The first menu change will take place on October 23. The new lineup includes Yokkaichi Tonteki, Ichinoseki Harami Yaki, Yamagata Imoni Curry Udon, Nayoro Stewed Genghis Khan, Honjo Ham Fry, Izumo Zenzai, Otaru Ankake Yakisoba, and Kamitaima Tonchan. Instead, the existing "Hachinohe Senbei Soup," "Kitakami Croquette," "Yokote Yakisoba," "Fujinomiya Yakisoba," "Hiruzen Yakisoba," "Saiki Sesame Dashi Udon" and "Tagawa Horumon Nabe" will no longer be available.
The restaurant will be temporarily closed from October 19 to 22 to prepare for menu changes. Also, from October 16 to 18, a half-price drink coupon will be given for each dish purchased as part of the "Farewell Chapter 1: Autumn Thanksgiving Festival" before the closure.
[Addendum]
In response to user feedback, the restaurant will also begin offering a single rice dish.
