Daisuke Namikawa, voice actor, makes his directorial debut with a PV for the latest "Crayon Shin-chan the Movie" BD/DVD!　Starring Kenshiro Kato, the second generation children's store manager.

From the animated film "Crayon Shin-chan Ora no Hikiwokakeru Monogatari: Cactus Raid," the first PV & commercial directed & scripted by voice actor Daisuke Namikawa has been released.

This is an announcement video for the BD/DVD release on November 6 of "Crayon Shin-chan Ora no Hikigoe Monogatari - Cactus Raid," the 23rd film in the series, which was released nationwide on April 18, 2015 and recorded the highest box-office revenue in the series' history at 2.28 billion yen. Daisuke Namikawa, a voice actor who guest-starred as Mariachi, directed and wrote the script for the first time, and Kenshiro Kato, a popular child actor known as "the second child manager," plays the lead role.

The video includes a 2-minute PV and three 15-second commercials. It is available on Bandai Visual's official information site (http://v-storage.bandaivisual.co.jp/) and will also be broadcast from the October 23 episode of the TV anime "Crayon Shin-chan," which is currently airing on TV Asahi.

This is the first time I have appeared in "Crayon Shin-chan the Movie," and I was offered the chance to direct the DVD's PV. I thought the offer to direct the DVD was very unexpected, just like "Shin-chan" (laugh), and I accepted the offer at once. I had directed a movie once before, but this was my first TV commercial, so I wrote the script seriously so as not to tarnish the Shin-chan tradition. In fact, this is a Crayon Shin-chan movie that makes adults cry even when they watch it. I hope you will also notice the trick in the PV.
