Bak-ON! is a manga work by Orimoto Mimana, serialized in Young Champion Isetsu. It is a coming-of-age manga that depicts a protagonist who becomes interested in motorcycles and leads a motorcycle life with the support of her unique friends in a girls' high school motorcycle club.

The OVA version will be included in the bonus DVD of the limited special edition of the seventh volume of the original comics, which will be released on March 18, 2016, while the TV anime version will begin airing before the end of 2016. In addition, five motorcycle manufacturers, Kawasaki, SUZUKI, DUCATI, HONDA, and YAMAHA, have fully cooperated in the anime. Motorcycles with the same design as the actual machines will appear in the film.
