Akiba Research Institute's anime portal "Anipota" received many reviews for its "2015 Summer Anime Review Submission Campaign," which ran from September 18 to October 18, 2015. As a final result, we present the top 10 highly rated works!　 Note that the target works include continuing works that finished airing in the 2015 summer cool.

The title that has remained at the top since the two interim announcements ( October 2 and October 14 ) is the erotic comedy"Prison School," which depicts the suffering of five high school boys imprisoned in the punishment wing (commonly known as "Prison") by three beautiful women of the "Uraku (Backstage Student Council). Half of the reviewers gave it a perfect score of 5, and half gave it a score of 4.5, with "direction" in particular receiving an average score of 4.92. Many praised the skills of director Tsutomu Mizushima and his staff for taking advantage of the flavor of the original comic and turning the outlandish content into a brilliantly funny film.

The animation by director Mizushima is still amazing. From what I've read of the original work, it seemed like it would slip when made into an anime, but he cooked it up beautifully.

Coming in second place in a close race was " A Boring World Where the Concept of a Subtext Does Not Exist. The film depicts a time when sexual language is strictly regulated by law, and the battles of "SOX," a group of underhanded terrorists who resist these regulations. The film broke new ground with its aggressive, on-the-edge content, but it seems to have been received favorably as a positive challenge.

Although the story is a "story below the surface," the structure of this work is a dystopian one with an overly controlled society, and it is a work that is surprisingly well thought out behind the surface impact. That's why it was able to be put together without stalling until the end of the film.

On first viewing, I thought it was a rather over-the-top, tongue-in-cheek anime, but after it was over, I couldn't help but think that it might have been a serious anime that seriously dealt with sex.

Arslan Senki," which came in a close third, is a historical fantasy based on the popular manga by Yoshiki Tanaka of "The Legend of the Galactic Heroes" and Hiroshi Arakawa of "Fullmetal Alchemist," which was broadcast in the Day 5 slot from April 2015 for 2 cool seasons. It boasts a large drama-like scale with the growth of Arslan, an unreliable prince who was forced to leave his kingdom, the activities of the strong characters who follow him, and powerful battle scenes, attracting a wide range of viewers. A new TV anime series will start within 2016.

Of the three works that were unranked in the interim announcement, "Snow White with Red Hair" ranked the highest, coming in at No. 4. Snow White with Red Hair" is a royal fantasy featuring a prince and princess as the main characters, and has also attracted attention for the ending song by popular voice actress Saori Hayami, who made her debut in the series. The second season of the series is scheduled to begin in January 2016.
