3DCG anime "RWBY" from the U.S., the world's first manga adaptation in Japan! Shiro Miwa will appear in an original story that has not yet appeared in the main story.

A manga adaptation of the web animation "RWBY" has been announced.



RWBY" is a web animation produced by Rooster Teeth Production in the U.S., and has gained popularity beyond national borders with its 3DCG characters, powerful action, and heartwarming scenario. The total number of views on YouTube is more than 70 million, and the total number of views on the official website is more than 100 million. The content is an action story about a girl who attends a training school for "hunters" to fight against "Grimms," who threaten the human race, and how she grows up with her friends. The main cast of the Japanese dubbed version includes Saori Hayami as the main character Ruby Rose, Yoko Hikasa as Weiss Schnee, Yu Shimamura as Blake Belladonna, and Ami Koshimizu as Yang Xiaolong.

The Japanese dubbed version will begin showing at six theaters nationwide on November 14, and a manga adaptation has been decided. It will be serialized from the November 19 issue of Ultra Jump. Written by Shiro Miwa of "DOGS" and "Seventh Dragon 2020," and fully supervised by Rooster Teeth, it will be the first official manga to feature an original story that explores the mysteries behind the four trailers released in 2012.
