Aeria has released "PORT INTAKE" (model number: SD-UP19C30C), a conversion kit for converting USB 3.0 pin header on a motherboard to Type-C connector.

PORT INTAKE" is a conversion kit that converts the 19-pin USB 3.0 pin header on the motherboard to a Type-C connector. 19 pins for 2 ports are placed on the front and back of the Type-C connector to realize a Type-C connector that can be inserted in either direction at a low cost. The Type-C connector can be plugged in either direction at a low cost.

In addition,since it is not equipped with an IC, no driver installation or configuration is required, and it can be used simply by connecting the included 19-pin cable to the USB 3.0 pin header on the motherboard.

The main specifications are as follows: main unit size is 46 (W) x 30 (D) mm; cable length is approximately 60 cm; standard bracket, low-profile bracket, and connection cable are included as accessories.
