TV anime "Nurse Witch Kogi-chan R" to start in January 2016!　Based on the previous work, but with new characters and settings.

The TV anime "Nurse Witch Wheat-chan R" has been announced; it will start in January 2016 on Nippon Television.

This is a new TV series of magical girl anime "Nurse Witch Wheat-chan Magical Te" and "Nurse Witch Wheat-chan Magical Te Z" produced by Tatsunoko Productions from 2002 to 2005 as a spin-off OVA from the TV anime "The Soul Taker: Soul Hunting. Based on the previous work, the characters and settings have been completely renewed, depicting the slapstick daily lives of the rivals of Wheat-chan, who struggles with her three legs as a student, an idol, and a magical girl. Highlights include live performances using 3DCG.

Directed by Keiichiro Kawaguchi, series composition by Momoko Murakami, character draft by Akio Watanabe, character design by Takao Sano, and animation production by Tatsunoko Productions. The cast includes Keiichiro Kawaguchi as the energetic and clumsy second-year junior high school student Yoshida Wheat, Erii Yamazaki as her classmate and best friend Saionji Kokona, Makoto Koichi as the male idol Kisaragi Tsukasa, and Haruko Momoi as Yoshida Koharu. Incidentally, Ms. Momoi played the main character, Nakahara Wheat, in the previous production.

＜Story.
Yoshida Wheat is an energetic and slightly clumsy second-year junior high school student. She is an idol with her classmate and best friend Kokona Saionji and Tsukasa Kisaragi, an idol dressed as a man. Unlike Kokona, who is rapidly gaining popularity, and Tsukasa, who is a charismatic man in men's clothing, Wheat's job is a simple one, performing at local shopping streets. Even so, she has a "dream" and enjoys her life as both an idol and a junior high school girl. Then one day, a mysterious, wounded creature named Usa-P appears in front of Wheat. When Wheat treats her, Usa-P, recognizing her kindness, asks her to become a legendary girl who can use her magical powers. For some reason, she reluctantly becomes a legendary girl and fights a strange monster that appears out of nowhere!　She calls herself "Magical Nurse" and is forced to fight the monsters that appear one after another. Then, "Magical Maid" and "Magical Sister" also appear, and a battle ensues!　Can Wheat play the three roles of "junior high school girl," "idol," and "magical nurse" all by herself? And what will happen to the battle and the "dream" ......?
