Digimon Adventure tri." is the latest in the Digimon series, a sequel to the original "Digimon Adventure. Set three years after the final battle against Belial Vandemon in "Digimon Adventure 02," the film tells the story of the "chosen children" (Taichi Yagami, Yamato Ishida, Sora Takenouchi, Mitsuro Izumi, Mimi Tachigawa, Takeshi Kido, Takeru Takaishi, and Hikari Yagami), including the main character Taichi Yagami, who is now a high school student, after their growth. The story is depicted as a film in six chapters. The film is directed by Keitaro Motonaga, with series composition by Yuko Kakihara and character design by Atsuya Uki. The cast will be renewed as the children grow up, but the first generation of Digimon partners will continue to be cast. The theme song will be a newly recorded version of an existing song.

The first chapter, "Reunion," will be released in 10 theaters nationwide on November 21, and advance scene photos have been released. The scene photos show the reunion scene between Agumon and Taichi, where we can see a grown-up Taichi and both of them happy to see each other again. Also, a new character, Meishin Mochizuki, a girl who transferred from Tottori to the same class as Taichi, is revealed. She is said to be looking for something in Odaiba when she gets caught up in a battle between Digimon. She is voiced by Miho Arakawa.

Meishin looks like an honor student and has a very reserved and shy personality, but she is actually a girl with a strong core. There is a scene in which she walks around town with Sora and Mimi pulling her by the hand, and since she is not used to Tokyo, it was cute to see her being surprised and flustered by the monorail.I myself used to look forward to watching "Digimon Adventure" every week, so I am honored to be involved in its sequel, "Digimon Adventure tri. There are six chapters in the series, so I would be happy if you could watch the story and see how I will be involved with the "Chosen Children" and look forward to seeing Meishin's growth.
