The main visual and trailer for the anime film "Free! -Starting Days-", which will be released on December 5.

Starting Days" will be released in theaters on December 5! Starting Days-" is the latest film animation of "Free!", which gained popularity mainly among women after its first and second TV anime seasons, as a story of high school boys' coming-of-age and bonding based on the theme of swimming. Based on the second volume of the original novel "High☆Speed! the film depicts the junior high school days of the main character, Nanase Haruka and her friends. Directed by Yasuhiro Takemoto of "The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya," "Amagi Brilliant Park," and "Hyouka," composed by Masahiro Yokoya, script by Maiko Nishioka, character design and chief animation director by Taishi Nishiya, and produced by Kyoto Animation.

The main visual and trailer have now been released. The trailer features Haruka Nanase, Makoto Tachibana, Asahi Shiina, Ikuya Kirishima and others who have entered junior high school. The film is filled with swimming scenes, and depicts them confronting themselves through swimming, friendship and conflicts with their friends, and reaching for their goals. It was also revealed that Shigino Takasumi will be played by Suzuki Chihiro, Yamazaki Sosuke by Hosoya Yoshimasa (elementary school student by Yuuki Aoi), Matsuoka Rin by Miyano Mamoru (elementary school student by Watanabe Akeno), Hazuki Nagisa by Sato Satomi, and Ryukezaki Rei by Hikasa Yoko. The main visual is a rear view of the four standing by the pool.
