TV anime "Yami Shiba" to begin its third season in January 2016!　 Over 100 creepy characters causing urban legends!

The third season of the TV anime "Yami Shibai" will begin in January 2016.

Yami Shibai" is a horror short anime based on the theme of "Showa Paper Showa x Urban Legend x Fear App," with the first season airing from July to September 2013, and the second season from July to September 2014. It is an animation for adults that presents urban legend stories from all over Japan on a picture-story show that is a scene from the Showa era! Digital Picture Story Show". It is not just a horror story, but a different kind of horror through the use of modern digital elements and the discomfort of "watching a picture-story show on TV".

It has now been announced that the third season will begin in January 2016. While the second season featured guest directors from the horror world, the third season will be directed by Takashi Taniguchi (ILCA) and Tomohisa Ishikawa (Anima), with the CG production company Anima providing full support for ILCA, which is in charge of production. The production is said to be far more original and frightening than its predecessor. The film also features over 100 unique and eerie characters who cause urban legends to appear, and they run amok in all directions. The cast includes regular voice actors such as Yoshihiro Murai and Risa Aizawa (Denpa Gumi Inc.), as well as guests from a variety of fields.

In addition to this, a collaboration with the shoujo manga magazine "Chao" will take place. Characters from the magazine's popular manga "Chocolat no Mahou" and "Ningen Kaikyusha" will participate, and a manga called "Yami Shiba" by Isao Sakamoto will appear in the November 20 issue of Chao Deluxe.
