The first chapter of the "Digimon Adventure tri." anime movie has been announced as a special gift for visitors.

Digimon Adventure tri." is the latest in the Digimon series, a sequel to the original "Digimon Adventure. Set three years after the final battle against Belial Vandemon in "Digimon Adventure 02," the film tells the story of the "chosen children" (Taichi Yagami, Yamato Ishida, Sora Takenouchi, Mitsuro Izumi, Mimi Tachigawa, Takeshi Kido, Takeru Takaishi, Hikari Yagami), including the main character, Taichi Yagami, who is now a high school student. The story is depicted as a film in six chapters. The film is directed by Keitaro Motonaga, with series composition by Yuko Kakihara and character design by Atsuya Uki. The cast will be renewed as the children grow up, but the first generation of Digimon partners will continue to be cast. The theme song will be a newly recorded version of an existing song.

The first chapter, "Reunion," will open in 10 theaters nationwide on November 21, and the special perks for visitors have been decided: for the first week (from November 21) and second week (from November 28), character cards (4 kinds each) with rough drawings by Atsuya Uki, the character designer, will be offered, and for the third week (from December 5), a special card with a picture of a Digimon character (from the animation character design team) will be offered. The third week (from December 5), miniature color paper cards (2 kinds each) newly drawn by Masanori Sora, animation character designer, and Koji Ito, animation director, will be distributed at random on a first-come, first-served basis.

The schedule for the first day's stage greeting has also been set, and advance ticket sales will be held by lottery starting November 7.
