The trackball, which pursues "comfort" in the palm of the hand, is now available in a model with function buttons!

A variation model of Elecom's "M-XT2DRBK" trackball, which was designed to provide a"comfortable feel" in the palm of the hand and asense of control, is now on sale at PC House Toei's Web site.




As mentioned above, the M-XT3DRBK is a variation model of the M-XT2DRBK trackball released last month, with the rightmost button changed from a pointer deceleration button to a customizable function button.

Other specifications are the same as those of the previous model, and the
design of the main body takes into account the six skeletal structures and muscles that come into contact with the palm of the hand during operation, including the slight indentations and bulges, to achieve a new, easy-to-operate "feel on the palm.In addition,the use of a 2.5 mm-diameter artificial rubyfor the support spherehas improved the feel of the manipulated ball, and the larger diameter of the support sphere makes it less likely to be buried in hand debris, reducing the frequency of maintenance.

The main specifications are as follows: the main body measures 94.7 (W) x 124.4 (D) x 47.9 (H) mm and weighs approximately 128 g (excluding batteries). The number of buttons is 5 (including the wheel button). The resolution of the optical sensor is 750 counts/1,500 counts (switchable).Power source is1 x AA battery, with continuous operating time of approx. 125 hours (low energy mode) /76 hours (high speed mode).Supported operating systems areWindows 10, Windows RT8.1, Windows 8.1, Windows 7, Windows Vista, and Macintosh OS X 10.10.
