The SD-PEU3V-2ACL (Boss), a USB 3.0 expansion card with Type-C connector and PCI Express x1 connection, is now available from Aeria.




The "SD-PEU3V-2ACL (Boss)" is a PCI Express x1 USB 3.0 expansion card with one USB 3.0 Type-C port in addition to two Type-A ports.

The controller is equipped with VLI's VL805, which excels in stability and power saving. Furthermore, by converting the power supplied from the SATA power supply to voltage with a special circuit, the Type C port can be supplied with a maximum of 3A/5V. This enables high-speed charging of compatible devices.

The main specifications are as follows: body size is approx. 68 x 83 mm, weight is 49 g, connection interface is PCI Express x1, power supply is SATA power supply (15-pin connection). Port output power is Type A max. 900mA, Type C max. 3000mA ( total 3 ports max. 4A output ). Supported OS is Windows 10/8.1/8/7 (each 32/64bit compatible). A low-profile bracket is included as an accessory.
