Voice actor comments from the anime film "Digimon Adventure tri.

Digimon Adventure tri." is the latest in the Digimon series, a sequel to the original "Digimon Adventure. Set three years after the final battle against Belial Vandemon in "Digimon Adventure 02," the story is about the "chosen children" (Taichi Yagami, Yamato Ishida, Sora Takenouchi, Mitsuro Izumi, Mimi Tachigawa, Takeshi Kido, Takeru Takaishi, and Hikari Yagami), including the main character, Taichi Yagami, who is now a high school student. The story is depicted as a film in six chapters. The film is directed by Keitaro Motonaga, with series composition by Yuko Kakihara and character design by Atsuya Uki. The cast will be renewed as the children grow up, but the first generation of Digimon partners will continue to be cast. The theme song will be a newly recorded version of an existing song.

The first chapter, "Reunion," will be released in 10 theaters nationwide on November 21, and comments from the voice actors have arrived. The 16 voice actors who voice the "Chosen Children" and Digimon share their impressions of the recording sessions and their thoughts for the fans.

In addition, following the sell-out of tickets for the first day's stage greeting at Shinjuku Wald 9, a stage greeting will also be held at Shibuya TOEI, with Natsuki Hanae (Taichi Yagami), Suzuko Mimori (Sora Takenouchi), Yoshimasa Hosoya (Yamato Ishida), Mutsushin Tamura (Mitsuro Izumi), and Mutsushin Yoshida (Mitsuro Izumi) joining the audience after the 11:55 screening on November 21. Natsuki Hanae / playing Taichi Yagami

I was under a lot of pressure to play the role of Taichi, who has grown up and changed while still retaining the face of the elementary school Taichi. I did my best to play the role of Taichi while looking back at the original series. The seniors were very kind to me, so I was able to go through the postrecording without any unnecessary nervousness. When I met Mr. Sakamoto for the first time, I was very happy to hear him call me Taichi. I myself watched the original broadcast in real time, so I am honored to be able to be involved in this way. I hope you will come to the theater and see Digimon and the children in action on the big screen.

Chinatsu Sakamoto / Playing the role of Agumon
I was so surprised because I never thought I would see my children grow up, but at the same time, I strongly felt that I had to make sure that I was on top of it! At the same time, I strongly felt that I had to make sure that I was on top of things! The distance between Digimon and myself has not changed at all. (The studio was filled with a sense of tension. It must have been a strange mix of the children's fresh "eagerness" and the Digimon's "I'm home" eagerness. The adventure will continue to evolve! Evolve with guts! Let's do it together!

Suzuko Mimori / Playing the role of Sora Takenouchi
I was quite nervous on the first day of postrecording, but I was so relaxed when Katori Shigematsu, who played the role of Pyomon, came up next to me and said, "I'm going to sit next to Sora! What's more, we share the same birthday! We had the same birthday.......what a miracle! We had a great time recording from the very first day!

Katori Shigematsu/played the role of Pyomon
The atmosphere in the studio was great. Suzuko Mimori, who played Sora, and I had the same birthday, and we were talking about how coincidental it was, but on the first day of recording, Mutsushin Tamura, who played Mitsuro, gave Mimori and me gifts, which made us very happy. Incidentally, during the recording of the first chapter, despite the large number of people in the room, Piyomon was in a fixed position next to Sora every time.

Yoshimasa Hosoya / playing Yamato Ishida
I felt that I had to be recognized as the chosen children by the senior Digimon actors. First of all, I did my best to be recognized by my partner Digimon.

Mayumi Yamaguchi as Gabumon
During postrecording, I was amazed by the young children's imposing performance, which was totally different from ours in the past! I was so impressed. And we old ladies were having a well-informed discussion (laughs). We even ate monja afterwards!

Mutsuko Tamura as Mitsuro Izumi
It was a very warm scene! The digimon were eating a certain food at a restaurant, which I thought looked very delicious and cute. It looked so delicious and cute! We were treated by the senior Digimonians☆ It was delicious! I think you will want to go there after you see it! I hope you will too!

Takahiro Sakurai as Tentomon
It was a combination of nostalgia and newness. The gap between those who were nervous and those who were not was interesting. Maybe the new members were more relaxed... (laughs)?

Hitomi Yoshida / Playing the role of Mimi Tachigawa
The senior Digimon members pulled me along and the atmosphere was very warm from start to finish. I was nervous, but I felt a strange sense of security. Especially when I greeted Kinoko-san, who played the role of Palmon, she said, "You are the one! I was so happy and grateful that he accepted me immediately, and at that moment, I felt my shoulders relaxed. Mimmy! I heard the line "Mimi!" right next to me, and it gave me power. It's great to have a partner!

Kinoko Yamada / playing Palmon
The cast members of the children were real children who were watching the show at the time, so it was very strange to work with them. But I was impressed that the children were so much more confident and skillful than when I was playing the role of the Mujirushi.

Junya Enoki / Playing the role of Takeru Takaishi
I was really nervous at the beginning of the postrecording and didn't have time to feel the atmosphere of the studio, but as the recording progressed, my nerves eased and I was able to talk with the Digimon actors during breaks, so it was a very fun scene.

Miwa Matsumoto/playing Patamon
Unfortunately, I was alone during recording this time, so I was very envious of the group photo taken at the Digimon Adventure Festival 2015 in August. For Patamon, "Takeru" is the fourth person (including the game). Like all actors, Enoki-san seems sincere. He is a wonderful person!

Junya Ikeda / Playing the role of Takeshi Kido
There is a scene in the play where we eat monjayaki, and on the day of recording for that scene, a few of us went to a nearby monjaya restaurant under the influence of the scene. I remember that all the senior Digimon voice actors joined us and we had a lot of fun even though we were nervous.

Junko Takeuchi / playing Gomamon
This time, Jou and Gomamon were separated from everyone else, so they didn't have much cuddling time, but Junya Ikeda, who played Jou, told me that Gomamon was "kawaii" when I talked to him, which gave me a lot of emotional support.

M・A・O/as Hikari Yagami
I was very nervous when I greeted the audience and during the test. I was able to relax a little after talking with everyone during the break, but when I stood in front of the microphone, my heart beat loudly as if I had forgotten about it, so I was troubled (laugh). (Laughs.) But when Mr. Tokumitsu, who played Tailmon, called me "Hikari" in the play, it really made my heart flutter.

Yoshiharu Tokumitsu / playing the role of Tailmon
The boys were handsome and the girls were cute, and they all acted so well... I only remember that the scene went smoothly. I remember the scene was going so smoothly! I was so impressed. I was so nostalgic when I met all the Digimon actors.
