Taito opens "Eki-naka Game Center" in JR Akihabara Station for a limited time!　Promoting the availability of electronic money

The "Eki-naka Game Center" will be open for two days only, from November 20 to 21. The location is an event space inside JR Akihabara Station.

This is a project by Taito to promote the fact that electronic money for transportation systems, such as Suica, can now be used at its game centers. In order to have visitors experience the convenience of electronic money, anyone can play games for free by holding up their transportation system electronic money.

Two crane game machines (Nail Stage / up to 5 plays) and one prize game machine (Capriccio Star / up to 3 plays) will be installed. Electronic money accepted for transportation systems are Kitaca, Suica, PASMO, TOICA, manaca, ICOCA, SUGOCA, nimoca, and Hayakaken. Prizes are Taito original tote bags and gold pillow chocolates. The event will be held from 11:00 to 21:00.

Taito has installed multi electronic money terminals in 21 stores so far, and plans to install 9,800 terminals in 44 stores by March 2016.
