Assassin's Creed Syndicate, Project Cross Zone 2, and other notable games on sale this week!

First up is the stealth action game "Assassin's Creed Syndicate" for PS4/Xbox One.

Assassin's Creed Syndicate" is the latest title in the popular stealth action game series "Assassin's Creed" in which players take on the role of an assassin and carry out assassination missions against various important figures.

The story takes place in Victorian London during the Industrial Revolution of 1868, when the gap between rich and poor widened due to rapid industrial development, and many workers belonging to the lower classes were forced to live as if they were slaves. In order to defeat the oppression of the ruling class, the workers form a clique called a "gang" to fight, but behind the scenes of this battle are the Assassins and the Knights Templar.

Players take on the roles of Jacob Fry, raised as an Assassin, and his twin sister, Evie Fry, who, under the Assassin's Creed, will be forced to darken the London underworld to change the fate of millions of workers.

The game system is the same open-world type action as in previous titles in the series. In this title, in which two Assassins, Jacob and Evie, are the main characters, players can freely switch between the two during their actions in the open world. By switching between Jacob, who has an aggressive personality and excels at leading gang members on raids and taking on enemy soldiers, and Evie, who is cool and calm and excels at infiltrating enemy territory and assassinating from behind, players can enjoy various styles of assassination depending on the situation.

In addition, new gadgets such as a rope launcher that allows players to fly around the city of London in any direction, "electric bombs" that electrocute enemies, and new means of transportation such as horse-drawn carriages, steam locomotives, and steam boats will also make their appearance, allowing players to enjoy a higher degree of freedom in the game than ever before.

Sales were brisk at various stores in Akihabara. Most stores were sold out of the Xbox One version. In addition to a variety of action scenes, a demo featuring the greats of Britain was also a highlight of the event.
