Original TV anime "Raquen Logic" to start in January 2016!　Simultaneous development of TCG by Bushiroad and Bandai Visual

An original TV anime "Raquen Logic" has been announced.

This is an original TV anime produced by Bushiroad and Bandai Visual, both well-known for trading card games (TCG). The biggest feature of the anime is that the anime and the TCG will be developed at the same time, but there will be no depiction of playing the TCG in the anime, and the two will share the same worldview. The content is an otherworldly sci-fi battle action work about a boy and girl who use their special abilities to merge (trance) with goddesses from other worlds and protect world peace in a world of human and god worlds in crisis. The anime will begin airing on January 9, 2016, and the TCG will be released on January 28, 2016, with two starting decks and booster packs. In addition, every week, just before the main anime airs, a one-minute short anime "We, Raku Roji Club! is aired every week just before the main anime airs. This short animation comically depicts high school girls enjoying the TCG.

The staff consists of Yuya Takahashi (QueenB) for the original idea and series composition, Koichi Chiaki as director, Takashi Naotani as assistant director, Mari Shimazaki for character and concept design, Rei Aoi for character design, Katsuhiro Kumagai for sub-character design, and Norimitsu Kaiho for setting cooperation (Nitro Plus). Animation production will be handled by Animation Studio. The cast includes Kensho Ono, Sumire Uesaka, Risa Taneda, Nao Higashiyama, Aozora Tokui, Chiaki Omigawa, Inori Minase, Fumiko Orikasa, Aimi, Risa Mizuno, Izumi Tachibanada, Teijo Matsuoka, Hozumi Gouda, Ai Chino, Kana Ueda, Ryu Nakatani, and Suzuko Mimori, The OP theme song is sung by Kensho Ono and the ED theme song by Emi Nitta.

The TCG was designed by Youhodo. The company focused on the balance between luck and logic. In addition, the same characters appear with different visuals and skills due to the aforementioned combining elements, and can be easily enhanced by building decks with the same colors or in the same world.

The program will be broadcast on TOKYO MX, Sun TV and KBS Kyoto from 10:30 p.m. every Saturday starting January 9, and on BS11 from 24:30 p.m. every Wednesday starting January 13. A special program will be broadcast on TOKYO MX from 19:00 to 20:30 on December 31.
