From the TV anime "Osomatsu-san" currently airing on TV, a newly-drawn illustration for the BD/DVD "Daiichimatsu" bonus and "Osomatsu-san in Nanja Town" limited edition goods has been revealed.
Osomatsu-san" is an original anime created to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the late Fujio Akatsuka's birth. Based on "Osomatsu-kun," a gag comic published by Fujio Akatsuka in Weekly Shōnen Sunday in 1962 that became an explosive hit, "Osomatsu-san" depicts a future where the six children have grown up. The overly aggressive gags have often been the talk of the town, and the diverse personalities of the six children shine through, making it an instantly popular title. Directed by Yoichi Fujita of "Gintama" fame, character design by Naoyuki Asano, series composition by Shu Matsubara, and animation production by studio Piero, the series will continue in January.
In addition, the collaboration event "Osomatsu-san in Nanja Town" will be held from December 4, 2015 to January 31, 2016. Two types of illustrations have been drawn for the limited-edition goods: an SD character version and a handsome version.
