Sofmap Establishes New Booth Specializing in Gaming Devices at Akihabara Main Building! Expansion of MAD CATZ and Thermaltake products for gamers
The PC peripherals corner on the 4th floor of Sofmap Akihabara Main Building will be renewed on November 19 with a new booth dedicated to gaming devices.
The booths will be dedicated to gaming devices from Mad Catz, the world's leading manufacturer of gaming peripherals, and Thermaltake, a comprehensive PC parts manufacturer. This booth allows visitors to experience the gaming mice, headsets, and other gaming products from both companies, and together with the Logitech G Arena, Japan's first shop-in-shop featuring Logitech products for gamers, which was set up in August, will strengthen the booth as a gaming device sales floor.
Below is an overview and event information.
MADCATZ Fighting Store
As Mad Catz's first shop-in-shop, visitors will be able to get their hands on new products from the Mad Catz gaming brand, the TRITTON audio brand, and the Saitek simulator brand, as well as other brand products. In addition, there will be a corner for recommended PC gaming products for each category and a demo exhibit in collaboration with various products.
Autograph & handshake session and commemorative photo session with professional gamers from Mad Catz will be held!
On Thursday, November 19, from 18:00 to 19:00, Mad Catz pro-gamers Umehara, Mago, and Tokido will visit the Akihabara Main Store to sign autographs, shake hands, and pose for photos. They will also give a few words about the Capcom Cup Finals scheduled to be held in the U.S. on December 6. Admission is free (but may be restricted depending on the situation).
Present event for the first 30 people who arrive.
We will hold an advance release of new products (limited quantities) and give away "Mad Catz T-shirts (not for sale)" to the first 30 people who purchase Mad Catz products. In addition, those who pre-order the Street Fighter V FightStick TE2 Chun-Li, scheduled for release on December 3, will receive a special Mad Catz logo button made by Sanwa Denshi.
