Seagate has released the ST8000NE0001, a 3.5-inch enterprise HDD with 8TB capacity.




The ST8000NE0001 is part of Seagate's Enterprise NAS HDD series and is the largest capacity 8TB model to date.

The main specifications are as follows: body size of 101.85 (W) x 147 (D) x 26.1 (H) mm, weight of 780 g, maximum continuous data transfer rate of 230 MB/sec, 256 MB cache, power consumption of 9 W in standard operation mode, and MTBF of 1.2 million hours.
