Additional cast members have been announced for the TV anime "Nurse Witch Wheat-chan R," which will start in January 2016.
This is a new TV series based on the magical girl anime "Nurse Witch K wheat-chan Magical Te" and "Nurse Witch K wheat-chan Magical Te Z" produced by Tatsunoko Productions from 2002 to 2005 as a spin-off OVA from the TV anime "The Soul Taker: Soul Hunting. Based on the previous work, the characters and settings have been completely renewed, depicting the slapstick daily lives of the rivals of Wheat-chan, who struggles with her three legs as a student, an idol, and a magical girl. Highlights include live performances using 3DCG. Directed by Keiichiro Kawaguchi, series composition by Momoko Murakami, character draft by Akio Watanabe, character design by Takao Sano, and animation production by Tatsunoko Productions. Haruko Momoi, who played the main character Nakahara Wheat in the previous film, will play the role of the main character's mother.
Following the three main cast members, additional cast members have been released. Wheat's partner, Bunny P., is played by Hiroyuki Yoshino; Kokona's partner, Tanu P., by Daisuke Namikawa; Tsukasa's partner, Neko P., by Ryota Takeuchi; Yuto Tachibana, a popular actor from Kiripro, by Yasuaki Naisho; Love Pro president, Ai Mitaka, by Shizuka Ito; and Love Pro on-site manager, Toranosuke Matsukawa, by Kenta Miyake, Koharu Yoshida, Wheat's mother and nurse, is Haruko Momoi; Tomoya Yoshida, Wheat's father and doctor, is Kenji Nojima; Kotaro Yoshida, Wheat's younger brother, is Minami Kabayama; Reina Maeda, Wheat's class teacher, is Ms. Misuzu; Ryusei Nakao, the camera monster from the first episode; Akane Kohinata, Tamako; Eriko Matsui, Rei; Meemu Tachibana, Koki Koki is played by Meimu Tachibana, and Maki by Maruka Asahina.
In addition, Otome Shinto, who are active as idols, will make their voice acting debut in this work. Each week, one of the members will appear as a voice actor somewhere in the film.
