Star Wars Battlefront, Sophie's Atelier, and other notable games on sale this week!

First up is the action-shooter "Star Wars Battlefront" for PS4 and Xbox One.

Star Wars Battlefront" is the latest title in the "Star Wars Battlefront" series, an action-shooting game in which you fight as a soldier in the world of the "Star Wars" science fiction film series. Based on the first trilogy ("Episode IV: A New Hope," "Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back," and "Episode VI: Return of the Jedi"), players assume the role of a soldier in either the Imperial Guard or the Rebel Alliance, and their objective is to bring victory to their camp.

The game is an action-shooter with switchable subjective and third-person perspectives, and supports split-screen offline cooperative play as well as online multiplayer with up to 40 simultaneous players. The game also features a 40-player "Supremacy" mode in which Imperial and Rebel Alliance forces clash over five bases, a "Cargo" mode in which players capture cargo filled with strategic supplies from the enemy camp, and a "Battle for the Rebellion" mode in which players can either become Rebel Alliance forces and call in Y-wing bombers to stop the AT-ATs' advance, or Imperial forces and defend the AT-ATs and use their overwhelming firepower to defeat the Rebel Alliance forces and defeat the AT-ATs. The game offers a variety of game modes, such as "Walker Assault," in which you play as the Rebel Alliance and try to destroy the Rebel Alliance's base with your overwhelming firepower.

The game was well received at stores in Akihabara. With the release of the latest movie just around the corner, the game is attracting a lot of attention at the sales floors.
