TV anime "Reikenzan: The Party of Stardust" has been announced. Broadcasting will begin in January 2016.

This is an anime work based on the online novel/manga "從前有座霊剣山", which is very popular in China. This is a Japan-China joint project between Studio Deen and Tencent Computer Systems Ltd. (Shenzhen, China), and is an anime adaptation of a hit work that boasts 270 million views.

The staff includes the director, who is also the director of "Sumeshimase Rhodes Island Senki: Is it Delicious? ～and "Yume-iro Pâtissière", and the character designers are "Gakkou Gurashi! DOG DAYS" and "Kikkaku Shoujo wa Kakunai ni Hattaranai," etc., and the character design is by Makoto Iino, who was the chief animation director for "Gakko Gurashi! The cast includes Tsubasa Dainaga as the main character Wang Riku, a genius with the highest IQ and brazenness, Eriko Nakamura as Rei, Masakazu Nishida as Kaiunfan, Daiki Kobayashi as Wang Chu, Marie Hatanaka as Ruri, Daichi Hayashi as Monbao, and Nako Eguchi as Bunyin.

A Chinese (Mandarin) version based on the Japanese version will be produced and distributed simultaneously in China.
