TV anime "SUSHI POLICE" to start in January 2016! A story of Japanese boys' struggle to protect "correct food culture"!

The animated TV series "SUSHI POLICE" will begin in January 2016.



SUSHI POLICE" (SUSHI POLICE) became a hot topic after winning The Hollywood Reporter's THE 2015 CANNES POSTER AWARDS at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival's Film Market. Details have been kept under wraps until now, but we now know that it will be broadcast from January 6, 2016 as an animation commemorating the 20th anniversary of TOKYO MX. The story is about Honda (CV: Akira Yamashita), Suzuki (CV: Masaka Ifumasa), and Kawasaki (CV: Hiromitsu Okamoto) fighting to protect "proper food culture" and is based on the actual Sushipolis riot* that took place in 2006.
