Strike the Blood" Voice Actors' Comments After Post-OVA Post-Recording!　Yoshimasa Hosoya: "Kojo is the main character!

Voice actor comments after recording the first part of the OVA have arrived from the TV anime "Strike the Blood.

Strike the Blood" is an anime work based on the light novel series of the same title by Gakuto Mikumo, currently being published by Dengeki Bunko. It is an action fantasy that depicts the story of the world's most powerful vampire and the sword maiden who watches over him on a certain island. Directed by Hideyo Yamamoto, series composition by Hiroyuki Yoshino, and produced by SILVER LINK.

Voice actor comments for the first part of the OVA "Strike the Blood: Kingdom of Valkyria," which was released on November 25, have now arrived. This time, the story is about a love battle among women that takes place when La Follia chooses an old castle as her marriage partner. The voice actors talk about their impressions and highlights of the recording session, which has been a long time coming.

The second part of the OVA is scheduled for release on December 23.

--The OVA of "Strike the Blood" will finally be released. What are your impressions of the recording after a long time?
Yoshimasa Hosoya as Kojo Satoru: I was really happy to be able to play Kojo for the first time in a long time, and I thought "Strike the Blood" should be like this! I felt that "Strike the Blood" should be like this. Even after the TV broadcast of "Strike the Blood" ended, I was blessed with many opportunities to speak at events, and each time I would say, "With your support, there may be a sequel! Please support us! I kept saying to myself, "With your support, there might be a sequel! And thanks to your support, I think we were able to make it happen. I am filled with gratitude to all the Stobra fans. Thank you so much!
Risa Taneda as Yukina Hiiragi: It had been a long time since we recorded this episode, so I felt nostalgic and nervous while recording. I thought it might be hard to remember the characters, but the moment we all dubbed together, I felt relieved that I was back. I felt a sense of relief and enjoyed the recording.
Saori Onishi as La Follia Rehavain: It had been quite a while since I played La Follia, but I was very happy to be able to play her again! La Follia was the first role I auditioned for, so I was quite tickled when I rewatched the anime before the recording. I remembered the character and didn't want to go back to those days at ...... (laughs). I played the role spontaneously!
Asami Seto as Asagi Aiba: I went into the recording with a nostalgic feeling. I was a little nervous about reuniting with my favorite members, but I had a lot of fun!
Ikumi Hayama as Sayaka Kohsaka: The recording of the drama CD took place a little before the recording of the OVA, so the recording went smoothly. Unlike the drama CD, which has no pictures, I was very happy to be able to voice a moving Sayaka for the first time in a long time. I was really excited! In the Drama CD, I played the cute Sayaka, but this time I also played the fighting Sayaka, so it was a lot of fun to play various Sayaka.

--How was the atmosphere at the recording studio?
Ms. Hosoya: The recording studio this time was larger than the one where we recorded the TV series, so I felt a little lonely because of the distance between the members, but when the test was over, everyone was in the same fun atmosphere as back then. （Producer Nakayama and sound director Hitoshi Akutagawa are a golden pair in my opinion, and I really enjoyed the recording sessions with the good atmosphere of the two of them.
Mr. Taneda: As before, it was an at-home atmosphere at the studio. Hosoya-san took the lead in small talk during breaks, and after recording we all went out to eat together, which was a lot of fun.
Mr. Onishi: It was the same as usual (laughs). (Laughs) We were really close at the Stobura site, so much so that you would think that we were recording every week. It was so close that you would think we were recording every week. We enjoyed recording both the first and second episodes!
Mr. Seto: The atmosphere was calm. Personally, when I saw Ms. Hosoya, who played the role of Furushiro, and Ms. Taneda, who played Yukina, standing in front of the microphone and talking to each other, I thought to myself, "Yes, this is the Stradivarius after all! I was secretly feeling nostalgic and happy.
Hayama: This is the Stradivarius! I felt like this is the Stradivarius! The interaction with Yukina and Kojo was pleasant, and I felt that Stobura has a Stobura breathing style. There were a lot of cast members, and it was a fun and friendly recording that reminded me of those days. The teamwork was excellent!

--What are some of the highlights of the characters you play in the first and second episodes of the series?
Ms. Hosoya: In the TV series, I thought that Yukina was the real leading character (laugh), but this time, Kojo is the main character! The highlight is just about everything! The highlight is the return of Kojo and Yukina!
Ms. Taneda: This time there is a lot of interaction between La Follia and Mr. Furushiro, and Yukina's reaction to that is very cute, so please pay attention to it. The girls' sexy scenes that you have come to expect, as well as the coolness of the male characters, have been enhanced, so please look forward to it, regardless of gender.
Ms. Onishi: La Follia is dignified and cool, but she also has a mischievous side with her own pace, and the gap between the two is very cute! I think her cuteness is shown to the fullest in this OVA!
Ms. Seto: I think Asagi is full of charm in both the first and second episodes! In the first part, there are a lot of things that she does. I wonder if it makes you a little nervous (laughs).
Ms. Hayama: Like all the characters, Sayaka's cute and cool parts are all here! I would be happy if you could also pay attention to the healthy part that supports her in the shadows. Unlike in the series, the story is completed in the front and back parts, so you can enjoy all the best parts of Stobura in just two episodes!
