TV anime "Phantasy Star Online 2" to start in January 2016!　Second PV with the theme song also released!

The TV anime "Phantasy Star Online 2 The Animation" will start airing in January 2016. A new key visual and the second PV were also released.

This is an anime adaptation of Sega's online RPG "Phantasy Star Online 2". As part of the series' 15th anniversary project, the developers will participate in the scenario, which will be a completely original story different from the game. The anime and game will be linked. Directed by Kawaguchi of "Hayate no Gotoku! Million Doll", series composition by Mitsuki Hirota of "The New Prince of Tennis" and "Bakumatsu Rock", character design by Minoko Takasu, and production by Telecom Animation Film.

The broadcast will begin in January 2016 and will air on TBS from January 7 at 1:46 am every Thursday, MBS from January 8 at 3:10 am every Friday, CBC from January 7 at midnight every Thursday, and BS-TBS from January 9 at 1:00 am every Saturday. A new key visual and the second PV were also unveiled. The second video features the theme song "Zetsuyo Stargate" sung by Shota Aoi.
