Anime Film "Fw: Hamatora", Stage Greeting Report!　The famous duo appears again in Yokohama, the holy land!

A stage greeting report has arrived from the anime film "Fw: Hamatora" currently in theaters.



Fw: Hamatora" is the first theatrical version of the original anime "Hamatora," which aired its first TV anime season from January to March 2014 and its second season from July to September 2014. Set in Yokohama, the battle ensemble drama depicts a pair of detectives and a police officer solving cases by those with special abilities called "minimates," and features a compilation of the TV series and the original SD anime "Mini-Hama.

The film has been in limited two-week release since November 14, and a stage greeting featuring Ryota Osaka (playing Nice) and Wataru Hatano (playing Murasaki) was held in Yokohama, the holy city of Yokohama. Below is the report.

On Sunday, November 22, 2015, a stage greeting for the theatrical version of "Fw: Hamatora" was held at Yokohama Burg 13!　On stage to greet the audience were Ryota Aisaka, who plays the main character, Nice, and Wataru Hatano, who plays his partner, Murasaki. They talked about the charm of the film and the SD animation "Mini-Hama" that was shown at the same time in Yokohama, which is also the setting of the film!

The TV anime "Hamatora" has been broadcast on TV Tokyo and other TV networks for two seasons as "Hamatora THE ANIMATION" from January 2014 and "Re:␣ Hamatora" from July of the same year. It is a new type of crime-suspense story set in Yokohama involving people with special abilities, and has gained popularity for its nonstop action and unique characters. It also drew attention for its star-studded cast, including Ryota Osaka as the main character, Nice, and Wataru Hatano as his sidekick, Murasaki, as well as Emiri Kato, Hiroshi Kamiya, Jun Fukuyama, and Yuichi Nakamura.

Mr. Aisaka and Mr. Hatano took the stage after being called to the stage by the moderator. As soon as they took the stage, Mr. Hatano shouted to the packed house, "Hamatora is back! he announced to the full house in Yokohama, the holy land of the film. Although the two had arrived after the stage greeting in Shinjuku, they had been talking nonstop during the trip to Yokohama, proving that the duo in the film is indeed alive and well in the cast.

Speaking about the release of the film, which is a compilation, Osaka said, "I thought it was told from an artistic point of view. ......(laugh)," and Hatano agreed, saying, "I kind of noticed it too... Mr. Hatano also confessed that he had the same opinion, saying, "I also kind of noticed it.... However, according to Mr. Osaka, from the perspective of art, the story can be seen as a different story, which makes it possible to make new discoveries, causing fans to nod their heads in agreement.

The topic also turned to "Mini-Hama," in which the characters in the story become SD characters and do whatever they want at the school. During postrecording, Aisaka-san reveals a secret story about how she was asked to "make it a little more comical" because she had dragged out the nice voice of "Re:␣ Hamatora" during recording. Mr. Hatano also said with a laugh that it was difficult for him because there was no other lucky character in the show except Murasaki.
