Puella Magi Madoka Magica" Concept Movie, the Cornerstone of the New Work, is Unveiled!　At the 40th anniversary exhibition of animation studio "Shaft

Puella Magi Madoka Magica" will release a "concept movie" leading to a new story.



This short film is based on a meeting between Akiyuki Shinbo, Ume Aoki, Gen Urobuchi (Nitroplus), and Shaft of "Magica Quartet," which is in charge of the original story of the "Puella Magi Madoka Magica" series, and Shinbo himself drew storyboards for the new film. Yukihiro Miyamoto, director of the film version, directed the movie, and Yuki Kajiura created the background music. Newly recorded voices from the lead cast are also used, and many other elements that can be called hints of the new film are incorporated.
