JOYSOUND Announces 2015 Karaoke Annual Ranking! 　3DCG movie version of Doraemon's theme song beat out DRAGENAI to take the top spot overall for the year!

Karaoke "JOYSOUND" has announced its annual karaoke ranking for 2015.



This ranking is based on the number of songs sung on the "JOYSOUND" series/"UGA" series commercial karaoke machines from Exing Corporation. The tabulation period was from January 1 to November 30, 2015.

The top song of 2015 was Motohiro Hata's "Himawari no Yakusoku," the theme song for "STAND BY ME Doraemon," the first 3DCG animation of Doraemon that was released and became a huge hit, rising significantly from No. 201 in 2014 and since the movie was broadcast on terrestrial wave on August 30, Second place went to SEKAI NO OWARI's "Dragon Night," a.k.a. "DRAGENAI. The song attracted attention for its lyrics and style, which pushed chunibi to the forefront, and it became a social phenomenon. In addition, Kumamushi's "It's warm, it's warm, it's warm, it's warm, it's warm," which was thought to be a joke song, became popular in its first appearance, ranking in 14th place.

In the otaku category, the ranking of the animation/special effects/game section was not different from the other categories. However, UNISON SQUARE GARDEN's "Sugar Song and Bitter Step," the ED theme of "Bloodline," which was much talked about for its high animation quality and the great postponement of the final episode, gained its first appearance at No. 11 in the annual ranking despite its release on May 20.

In the VOCALOID category, WhiteFlame "Senbonzakura" topped the list for the fourth consecutive year. Its stronghold is unshakable. Significant rank increases were seen in "Seijyaku Bakkatsu Boy," which rose from No. 40 last year to No. 12, and "Love Trial," which moved from outside the circle to No. 18. In the Eastern section, Iosis/miko "Chiruno no Perfect Sansu Kyoshitsu" was No. 1 again this year. In addition, seven songs by Yūkyū Satellite/senya were ranked in the top 10. In the "Uta-Suki Video" category by artist, voice actress Nana Mizuki topped the list for the fourth year in a row. Sheryl and Ranka also maintained their popularity, ranking seventh and eighth.
