DEFT" series of index finger operated trackballs from Elecom!

The index-finger operated "DEFT" series trackballs are now available from Elecom.

The lineup consists of two models: the wireless model "M-DT1DRBK" and the USB wired model "M-DT1URBK".

The M-DT1DRBK and M-DT1URBK are index-finger operated trackballs equipped with a gaming grade high-performance optical sensor.

Like the company's EX-G series of thumb-operated trackballs released last month, the M-DT1DRBK and M-DT1URBK are designed by focusing on the six skeletal structures and muscles that come into contact with the palm of the hand during operation, taking even the slightest depression or bulge into consideration, to achieve a new, easy-to-operate "feel on the palm.In addition, the use of a 2.5 mm-diameter artificial rubyfor the support spherehas improved the feel of the manipulation of the ball, and the larger diameter of the support sphere makes it less likely to be buried in hand debris and other debris, reducing maintenance frequency.

The main specifications are as follows: the main unit measures 94.7 (W) x 124.4 (D) x 47.9 (H) mm and weighs approximately 112 g (wireless model: excluding batteries; USB wired model: including USB cable ). The number of buttons is 8 (including wheel button and Fn1-3 buttons), and by installing dedicated software, users can set their favorite functions to Fn1-3 buttons.
