SUSHI POLICE", an animated sushi police anime, four extra films will be screened between the curtains at 109 Cinemas nationwide! Introducing "Sushi no Sakuho" (The Art of Sushi)

From the TV anime "SUSHI POLICE," which will start in January 2016, an extra episode will be screened between the curtains at 109 Cinemas nationwide starting December 1.

SUSHI POLICE" was the winner of The Hollywood Reporter's 2015 CANNES POSTER AWARDS at the 2015 Cannes International Film Festival. The anime will be broadcast from January 6, 2016 as a commemorative anime. The story follows Honda (CV: Akira Yamashita), Suzuki (CV: Masaka Ifumasa), and Kawasaki (CV: Hiromitsu Okamoto) as they fight to protect "proper food culture" and is based on the actual Sushipolis riots* that took place in 2006.
In 2006, the Japanese government, concerned about the spread of incorrect Japanese food overseas, announced the establishment of the "Overseas Japanese Restaurant Certification System," a system for certifying correct Japanese restaurants, which was ridiculed as "Sushipolis is coming! The Washington Post and other foreign media outlets, ridiculing the system, bashed the system and the Japanese government decided not to implement it.

The extra feature film will be screened as an intermission film at 109 Cinemas nationwide from December 1. The extra features are videos in which Sara and the Sushipolis introduce "sushi etiquette," the first of which is about the "wrong use of wasabi. In the first part of the video, the reporter Sarah warns Honda who drinks tea with wasabi and drips nose, and Suzuki who applies wasabi on his face like a facial pack and cries, in a comical manner.

A total of four extra films will be shown in sequence until March 31, 2016.
