Ukiyoe gag manga "Isobe Isobei Monogatari" to be adapted into a short anime!　Five members of the main cast will play three roles each.

An anime adaptation of "Isobe Isobei Monogatari - Ukiyo wa Tsuraiyo" has been decided.

Isobe Isobei Monogatari - Ukiyo wa Tsuraiyo" is a manga serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump by Ryo Nakama. It is a gag manga that depicts the daily life of Isobe Isobei, a young man attending a bushido school in Edo, in the style of ukiyoe.

The anime version was produced as a "Mame-Anime" (a short animation of about 30 seconds), not a Mamehon (a book of beans). Directed by Mankyu and animated by Gathering. The cast includes Daiki Yamashita as Isobe Isohei, Ayumi Murase as Nakajima Jo, Tomoaki Takahashi as Mother, Takashi Matsuyama as Hiraga Gennai, and Yorimitsu Sakamoto as narrator. Each will also play three roles. Ayumi Murase will play the dog lady and her sixth son Ienobu, Tomoaki Takahashi will play the dumpling shop girl and her third son Iemitsu, Takashi Matsuyama will play her twelfth son Ieyoshi and his teacher, and Yorimitsu Sakamoto will also play Daihachi Shiga, Ieyasu Tokugawa, and his fifteenth son Yoshinobu. The entire cast did their best to play their roles! I played volleyball in junior high and high school, but I was not invited to play in "HIQUE! I was not invited to play in "HIQUE! (laughs). But I am glad that I was invited to play Isobei!

Yorimitsu Sakamoto (narration)
Even with the short length of the film, there are many characters, and even the mob characters are unique. You can even remember all 15 Tokugawa shogun brothers. (The rest of the cast said to me, "You can't remember them!)
