Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans, Episode 10 Advance Screening Report! Three voice actors from the Tekkadan take the stage!

From the TV anime "Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphens" currently airing on TV, here is a report from an advance screening event of episode 10 held on December 5.

Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphens" is the latest in the "Mobile Suit Gundam" series, which celebrated its 35th anniversary last year. This time, more than any of the previous works, the focus is on the human drama of the boys' bonds, setbacks, and growth, and the Gundam is said to change along with them. The main character's "Gundam Barbados" grows as it acquires and upgrades the weapons and armaments of enemy mobile suits that it defeats. This is a setting that can be seen as a setting that is strongly conscious of the development of Gunpla products, as in the case of "Gundam Build Fighters". Directed by "Toradora! The series is composed by Mari Okada, with Yu Ito as the character designer and Michinori Chiba as the character designer.

On December 5, the screening event "Iron Blood" was held at the Bandai Namco Institute for the Future Fan Theater in Tokyo. About 200 fans who were selected in a drawing from among many applicants came to the venue. The event included a screening of the 10th episode "Letters from Tomorrow," scheduled to air on December 6, a talk show, and a gift drawing. Guests included Kengo Kawanishi (Crescent Moon), Natsuki Hanae (Biscuit Griffon), and secret guest Yasuaki Uchisho (Akihiro Altland), who talked about the work and recording sessions. The following is the report.

The BD/DVD consists of 9 volumes, and the first volume will be released on December 24.

First, the guests took the stage before the screening of episode 10, "Letters from Tomorrow. In order to remind the audience who will be watching the 10th episode of the series, Ms. Kawanishi had to briefly explain the story of the 9th episode. Kawanishi was unfazed by Taniguchi-san's reckless request, and he responded in a brilliant manner by explaining the story: "The Tekkadan have joined the Taywazu, with whom they exchanged sake cups, and are now on their way to the earth. On the other hand, when asked about the highlight of episode 10, Hanae responded, "From Biscuit's point of view, it's the time when he is healed. It was good to hear their voices for the first time in a while. Mr. Uchikou then commented, "If you watch episode 10, you will understand why I was invited here. Please pay attention to it from Akihiro's point of view," he said, enlivening the audience before the screening. The talk show ended here, and the guests sat down on chairs prepared offstage to watch episode 10, "Letters from Tomorrow," with fans.

After the screening of the main story, Kawanishi, Hanae, and Uchisho moved back to the center of the stage to resume the talk show to loud applause, but perhaps unable to contain their excitement, they ignored the proceedings and became very excited talking about the last scene of the 10th episode. Asked how he felt about this event, in which he immediately watched the show with the audience, Kawanishi commented, "I was glad to be able to participate because I was able to feel the audience's live reactions. On the other hand, Hanae-san was asked about a memorable moment from the recording sessions so far. "I wanted to highlight Biscuit's fatness somewhere. In the scene, Biscuit says, "Ahhh..." When I was testing the scene, I tried to make him say, "Ohhh..." as if he was in a bit of pain. I tried to do it during the test with a slightly pained expression. At that time, it seemed to be covered by Amida's line, so it was undetectable, but when I did it again in the performance, it was indeed caught and I was scolded (laughs). (Laughs)." Uchitakumi said, "The other day during the postrecording, I wasn't really relaxed, but for some reason I couldn't get it right, and the sound director told me to play it a little more like Akihiro.

As the talk show approached the latter half of the show, the audience was invited to a prize-drawing session to win luxurious prizes. The audience was more excited than ever to win goods signed by today's guests Kawanishi, Hanae, and Naisho, as well as a 1/100 Gundam Varvatos plastic model. At the end of the event, the speakers gave their comments one by one. Mr. Uchikou said, "I really enjoyed watching the work that I am a part of with everyone. I hope you can look forward to seeing what will happen to Akihiro in the future. Hanae-san said, "Biscuit has a lot of explanatory lines, which makes it hard to play, but it's fun. Even when I read the script, each character has his or her own special moment, and it makes me really curious about the next episode. Please pay attention to what happens in episodes 10 and beyond. Kawanishi said, "There are some very interesting developments awaiting us. We are putting all our energy into making each and every one of them, so please continue to support "Iron-Blooded Orphans" from now on. The screening event ended with each of the participants expressing their enthusiasm for the future and messages of gratitude to the fans in attendance.
