2015 Fall Anime OP Theme Popularity Poll" results announced!　The first place is "Gochiusa" with over 1000 votes, the second place is "Osomatsu-san", and the third place is "Stamu"!

Akiba Research Institute's anime portal "Anipota" conducted the "2015 Fall Anime OP Theme Popularity Poll" from November 16 to December 6, 2015. Here are the results of the poll.



The "OP Theme Popularity Poll" is always very exciting, as various factors such as works, songs, artists, etc. influence the outcome of the vote, and the total number of votes for TV anime starting in the fall of 2015 was 9639!　The competition was heated, with popular series and topical works showing their overall strength.

The only one to win first place with more than 1,000 votes was the "Is Your Order a Rabbit? (Petit Rabbit ). (Petit Rabbit's). The character song by popular cast members Ayane Sakura, Inori Minase, Risa Taneda, Satomi Sato, and Marei Uchida sold 23,000 copies in its first week of release, and ranked 4th overall in the Oricon Weekly Single Ranking dated November 23. The momentum of the healing daily life anime "Gochiusa," now in its second season, shows no sign of slowing down.

Following at No. 2 was "Hanamaru Pippi wa Yoyoko Dake " (A O P) from "Osomatsu-san. Based on the late Fujio Akatsuka's masterpiece "Osomatsu-kun," "Osomatsu-san" depicts a future where the six children have grown up. While the gag development at the edge of the limits has become a major topic of conversation, the music has also become popular due to its addictive and mysterious lyrics and nostalgic Showa-era taste. The addictive nature of the song, which is hard to get out of one's head, is a perfect example of the charm of "Osomatsu-san.

Third place went to "DREAMER " (Gero) from the original musical anime "Stamus. Although "Stamu" did not attract much attention prior to its broadcast, it slowly gained popularity with its innovative musical animation direction and coming-of-age drama storyline, and has become a dark horse of the fall anime season. This song is also the new single by Gero, an ani-song singer who made his breakthrough as a "singer" on a video-sharing website, and seems to have received a strong boost from both fans of the work and fans of the artist.
