The first chapter of the anime film "Digimon Adventure tri!　Additional perks for coming to the movie!

The screening period of the first chapter "Reunion," which was released on November 21, has been extended for the anime film "Digimon Adventure tri.

Digimon Adventure tri." is the latest anime film in the Digimon series, a sequel to the original "Digimon Adventure. Set three years after the final battle against Belial Vandemon in "Digimon Adventure 02," the film tells the story of the "chosen children" (Taichi Yagami, Yamato Ishida, Sora Takenouchi, Mitsuro Izumi, Mimi Tachigawa, Takeshi Kido, Takeru Takaishi, Hikari Yagami), including the main character, Taichi Yagami, who is now a high school student. The story is depicted as a film in six chapters. The film is directed by Keitaro Motonaga, with series composition by Yuko Kakihara and character design by Atsuya Uki. The cast will be renewed as the children grow up, but the first generation of Digimon partners will continue to be cast. The first chapter, "Reunion," was released in 10 theaters nationwide on November 21.

The first chapter drew 93,671 viewers by December 3, and box-office revenue exceeded 146 million yen. The screening period will be extended by one week to December 18. In addition, it has been decided to distribute special offers to visitors from December 12, the fourth week of the screening period. The first arrival of visitors will receive an illustration reversible card newly drawn by Masanori Sora, animation character designer, and Koji Ito, animation director. The cards will feature Taichi & Yamato (front side) and Omegamon (back side).

Chapter 2 "Determination" is scheduled to begin showing in theaters on March 12, 2016.
