Winter Anime "Bubuki Blanki" Announces Cast and PV! Yusuke Kobayashi, Arie Ozawa, Souma Saito, Shizuka Ishigami, Mikako Komatsu, etc.

Cast information, PV & commercial videos, and broadcast information have been released simultaneously from the TV anime "Bubuki Blanki," which will start in January 2016.



This is an original anime produced by KADOKAWA and Sanzigen in collaboration to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the animation studio "Sanzigen". It is a battle fantasy depicting the battles of boys and girls who have acquired different powers through "Bubuki," a weapon with a will, and is produced entirely in full CG animation. Directed by Daisuke Komatsuda, assistant director of "Evangelion," with character design by Yusuke Kozaki, blanke design by Tatsuya Yoshikawa, series composition and screenplay by Jiro Ishii and Yukinori Kitajima, and music by Katsu Yokoyama.


The cast has now been released. Yusuke Kobayashi plays Kazuki Higashi, the main character who is not influenced by other people's opinions; Arie Ozawa plays Asabuki Kogane, Higashi's childhood friend and a naive girl; Souma Saito plays Nonohiragi, a hot-blooded man who sees Higashi as his rival ; Shizuka Ishigami plays Noa Ogaki, a yank at a young lady's school; and Mikako Komatsu plays Shizuru Taneomi, a natural girl with many strange words and actions. The other characters are Reo Manryu, a young girl who goes to a school for girls. In addition, Reoko Manryu will be played by Megumi Ban, Shusaku Matobai by Kenjiro Tsuda, Zemi Hazama by Yoko Hikasa, Soya Shimbashi by Subaru Kimura, and Akito Ishibuki by Kazuyuki Okitsu.

The series will air on TOKYO MX every Saturday from 22:00 on January 9, 2016, on KBS Kyoto every Saturday from 25:30 on January 9, on TV Aichi every Saturday from 26:50 on January 9, on Sun TV and BS11 every Sunday from 25:30 on January 10, and on AT-X every Saturday from 23:00 on January 9, every Sunday from 18:00 on January 10, every Saturday from 23:00 on January 9, every Sunday from 18:30 on January 10, and every Sunday from 23:00 on January 10, every Saturday from 18:30 on Sunday from 18:30 on Sunday. ~It will also be broadcast four times a week on AT-X from January 9, every Sunday at 18:00, every Tuesday at 15:00, and every Friday at 7:00, and will also be available on the d-Anime Store.
