Winter Anime "Nijiiro Days", Voice Actor Comments Arrive! From the four main cast members, Sadayuki Matsuoka, Takuya Eguchi, Nobunaga Shimazaki, and Koki Uchiyama!

Voice actor comments have arrived from the TV anime "Nijiiro Days," which will start in January 2016.

Nijiiro Days" is an anime based on Minami Mizuno's shoujo manga serialized in Bessatsu Margaret. It depicts the daily lives of four high school boys of different types (otome, flirtatious, smiling, and otaku) who are good friends, and is a coming-of-age school story that begins when one of them has a crush on a girl in a different class. General director is Amino Tetsuro, director is Tomihiko Okubo, series composition is by Aki Itami, and production is by Production Lead.

Comments from the four main cast members have now arrived: Sadashijo Matsuoka as Natsuki Hashiba, Takuya Eguchi as Tomoya Matsunaga, Nobunaga Shimazaki as Keiichi Katakura, and Koki Uchiyama as Tsuyoshi Naoe. They express their thoughts and enthusiasm for the work. The following is from the interview.

Nijiiro Days" is serialized in "Bessatsu Margaret," and the 10th volume of the comics has already been published, with a total circulation of over 1.86 million copies. When the seventh volume of the comics was released last October, a drama CD was included in the package, and the same cast members will be used for the TV anime.
Matsuoka commented on the anime adaptation, "I was genuinely happy that the anime adaptation was decided after starting with the VOMIC and then the Drama CD. I was genuinely happy to hear that the anime adaptation was decided. Eguchi added, "The four of us had a lot of fun together during the Drama CD, and after the recording we went out to dinner and talked about how great it would be to have an anime version. Eguchi added, "We had a lot of fun together during the Drama CD. Shimazaki said, "I wanted to make something great, and I thought the four of us would be able to make it. I thought that the four of us would be able to create something wonderful. Uchiyama said, "I am happy to be able to work on "Nijiiro Days" again with these four members, but at the same time, I am nervous about the role I have been entrusted with. I am happy to be involved in "Nijiiro Days" again with these four members, but at the same time, I am nervous to play the role.

When asked about the characters he plays, Matsuoka replied, "Today was the first time for me to see Natsuki-kun in action, but I was able to play him without any sense of discomfort. I think we share the same attitude of not bending on what we believe in. However, he is not able to express his feelings straight to women like that, so I envy him in that respect as I play the role." I envy him in that respect. Eguchi said, "Matsun (Tomoya) is a charlatan (laugh), but the highlight of the movie is that he changes through a love story. Unlike in my school days, he is very active with women, so I am enjoying playing the role through him, which I couldn't do myself in high school. I'm enjoying playing the role through him. Shimazaki followed with, "Keiichi is an interesting character with two sides to him. He's got his usual smiling, soft impression, and then he takes out his whip in a very mean-spirited way..." Eguchi said, "That fits him perfectly! Eguchi said, "He's perfect! Shimazaki responded, "What? Which one? I don't have a taste for whips (laughs). Shimazaki then added, "I'm trying to play the duality between the soft character who is close to me and the hard-edged guy who is a bit of a thug. He said, "I play a soft character close to myself, and a dominant character like him. Uchiyama said, "The character I play, Tsuyoshi, is usually low-tensioned and watches the three of them having a good time from a distance. I think this is similar to myself in some respects. He added, "But Tsuyoshi is a geek, and I don't know much about that, so I look it up myself or ask other people. Shimazaki replied, "I'll leave it to you! I'll teach you everything I know. I'll teach you everything. I'll teach you everything. Then Uchiyama said, "Actually, I asked Nobunaga-kun for the drama CD. I will continue to rely on Nobunaga-kun in the anime as well. I would like to rely on Nobunaga-kun in the anime as well," he confessed.

Incidentally, during the postrecording session held on the day, the four said that they had already created the animation in full color, and it was difficult for them to match their voices to the characters' mouths. Before the postrecording, director Okubo asked them, "Since the main character is a high school student, please don't overdo it. He also said that before the postrecording, Director Okubo asked them not to make too much of the character's voice.

When asked about the advance screening to be held on December 18 (Fri.), Matsuoka said, "I am very enthusiastic to be able to appear at the event with this group! I hope you will enjoy this work that we have put our lives on the line for." Eguchi said, "I am looking forward to sharing with everyone how the work we dubbed today will be completed in the end. The four of us will be coming to the theater to share our passion with you in person. Shimazaki continued, "The four of us will be going to the theater together.
Shimazaki said, "I am looking forward to attending the screening with the four of us, and I hope we can make it a fun event together. The cast and staff are all working hard, so I hope that everyone in the audience will give off an aura that they had fun as much as they could. He commented. Uchiyama said, "Seeing the colored pictures move during the postrecording today, I was very moved, even though I had read the original story. I am sure that the film will not betray the expectations of the fans of the original work, so please look forward to it. I am sure that the film will not disappoint the fans of the original work.

With only a little more than a week to go until the advance screening, we hope that those who attend the event will be able to enjoy the TV anime "Nijiiro Days" with their own eyes first hand. For those who unfortunately cannot make it to the venue, a promotional video is scheduled to be released in the near future, so please look forward to it as well as the OA!
