TV anime "My Hero Academia" unveils two new character set-up drawings! Reihi Ochako and Iida Tenya

Two new character drawings from the TV anime "My Hero Academia" have been released.

My Hero Academia" is an anime work based on the manga series published in Weekly Shonen Jump by Kohei Horikoshi. Set in a world where 80% of the world's population has some kind of idiosyncrasy, the story follows the protagonist, who has no idiosyncrasy of any kind, as he aims to become a hero against criminals who abuse his idiosyncrasy. The original series has sold more than 2 million copies in its first year of serialization and has become a "Jump Royal Road" series with its strong message and unique characters. Directed by Kenji Nagasaki, series composition by Yosuke Kuroda, character design by Yoshihiko Umakoshi, and animation production by BONES.

Two new character images have been released this time. One is Reichi Ochako, a girl with a bright and open personality and a "personality" that can make the object she touches with her finger weightless, and the other is the "Engine," a well-behaved girl who has an organ in both legs that generates tremendous speed. The other is Tenya Iida, a well-behaved elite boy who has an "engine" in his legs that produces tremendous speed.


The first stage event will be held at "Jump Festa 2016" at Makuhari Messe on December 19-20. Daiki Yamashita, who plays the main character, Izuhisa Midoriya, and Nobuhiko Okamoto, who plays Katsumi Bakugou, will appear. In addition, the "Weekly Shonen Jump" booth will host a talk show with Atsuhiko Nakata of Oriental Radio and the editor in charge of the original story on the 19th. A hands-on game "SMAAASH! to clear the mission!" will also be set up.
