GARUPAN the Movie grossed over 500 million yen in 22 days after its release! More prints of the "live frame film," a special offer for visitors, will be printed.

From the anime film "Girls und Panzer the Movie", it was announced that the box-office revenue exceeded 500 million yen.



The original anime "Girls und Panzer," directed by Tsutomu Mizushima, depicts a heartwarming story with the theme of beautiful girls and tanks. The realistic depiction of tanks and numerous beautiful girl characters have been highly acclaimed, especially by anime and military fans. In July 2014, the OVA "Girls und Panzer: This is the real battle of Anzio! was screened in theaters in July 2014, and the first theater version of the anime film "Girls und Panzer: The Movie" was released in November.

The film opened in 77 theaters on November 21, and was ranked No. 1 in box-office revenue for the first two days. 22 days after its release, on December 12, it surpassed the 500 million yen mark, and as of December 13, it has drawn 364,781 people and brought in 539,435,450 yen. Of this total, the attendance from December 12 to 13 was 49,256 (129% compared to the previous week) and the box-office revenue was 74,383,800 yen (127% compared to the previous week), and the decision was made to print more "live frame films" that were distributed as a bonus to visitors in the fourth week. However, the "World of Tanks x Girls und Panzer collaboration bonus card," which was distributed at the same time, will not be printed.


It has also been decided to offer additional visitor benefits up to the 6th week and to broadcast the OVA version + the first part of the movie version for the first time on terrestrial wave during the year-end and New Year's holidays.
